Paul Lloyd Warner's music spans
four decades from 1974 to 2003. The early albums were all recorded
on the piano, and as the composer progressed, he began composing for electronic keyboards in 1990 when,
at last, keyboard sampling had reached maturity. When it was possible to faithfully reproduct the
exact sound of an instrument, that is when Paul started to compose his symphonic works and works for
individual instruments such as harp and violin. With a few exceptions,
virtually all of Paul's music recorded after 1990 are recorded on keyboards. For the first time, it
became possible for a composer to record symphonic music electronically.
